About the She Rises Grant

It was launched by Amanda ‘Butta P’ Small to honor the women who she has had the pleasure of meeting in her travels as a recording artist, mentor, coach, business owner and philanthropist. Hearing stories of their hopes, dreams, and desires to be and do more but have lacked resources, ignited a desire in Butta P’s heart to be a part of investing in the next generation of women she believed could shift the culture around them.

“As I transitioned off of the stage and into the conference rooms, I started to see how many women really ran a lot of the machines we see. I’ve been blessed to be in a position to not only invest my time but now investing financially into women I believe who are shifting the culture and now I want to see them rise.” says Amanda.

How do I get the She Rises Grant?

To Apply you must be:

• A Woman

• 18 years of age or older

• A US Resident or US registered business

• Must be in the Creative Industry and/or an Entrepreneur

  • Music (artists, producers, booking, managers, songwriters, etc.)

  • Graphic Designer

  • Photo/Video/Content Creator

  • Entrepreneur (Business Owner)

  • Must show show proof of current, consistent work.

Speak from the Heart: Applying for the She Rises Grant is easy. Don’t try to “sound corporate.” We want to hear you simply share from the heart. Our judges are looking for passion as well as business smarts.

No business dream is too big or too small. What matters is you, the woman (or women) behind the business.

DEADLINE: March 26, 2021

One Winner of Grant will be announced Wednesday, March 31, 2021.

Grant will be awarded on behalf of Butta P and her company, goodcity.
